Christian Education

Theological Education is the birthright of every Christian.  At Annunciation, we offer a variety of challenging and enriching educational experiences for people of different ages. The goal of our Sunday School program is to teach our children the basic principles of our faith and to be good Christians in the world today.  We base our Sunday School on the Living the Good News curriculum, a lectionary based guide published by The Morehouse Group.  The Sunday school meets for instruction and discussion during the 10 am worship service, but finish in time to join the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.   Two of our teens were confirmed this year; we engaged in a shared confirmation program with St Luke's Haworth. For the past two years we have had a joint Lenten Bible study program with All Saints' Bergenfield.  During Wednesdays in Lent we shared a light supper (soup and salad) followed by Bible study.
